Sarah Anderson

I have worked in the customer/human services industry for over 15 years, working with many different walks of life and enjoyed every moment of it (even the hard days). Working with people has taught me so much about the world we live in and even more so about myself. In 2019/2020 I decided to take my passion and point it in a different direction by studying to be a Maternal Support Practitioner (Birth & Postpartum Doula) & Breast-Feeding Educator. I have been a part of the Aurora community, in some aspect, since 2016 when Team 2 and their AMAZING students were with us during the birth of our second daughter. It has been through all of this where I’ve fallen deeply in love with the birthing community, the compassion it holds, and the importance of informed choice/consent. All of these paths ultimately led me to start working at Aurora as Administration starting in February 2020. I very much enjoy seeing all of you on a daily basis at the clinic. Pregnancy, Birth and Postpartum is a beautiful, challenging, amazing journey and I am so happy to be able to be a small part of it with you as you encounter the loving space that is Aurora Midwifery.
