Kelsey Nickles

I have been helping out at Aurora for almost 10 years in one capacity or another. Starting out as a temporary receptionist and evolving over time into office manager, I have loved my time here more than anything. Coming from a family of midwives (daughter of Kimberley Schmidt and sister to Hayley Schmidt) I have been asked constantly if it is my plan to go into midwifery myself and the answer has always been a resounding no. I love the work that we do here and I am so pleased to be a part of it. Midwifery is a calling and a challenge that few are able to take on, I am lucky enough to work with some talented and inspiring women. The best parts of my job are tackling new projects to improve our clinic like new charting systems and running our social media presence with the help of all of our amazing Aurora Cimmunity.

In my spare time, I love playing rugby with the Calgary Saints, petting dogs, fibre arts, drinking beer, reading books and spending time with my family.
