Hello! My name is Cassandra and I am entering my fourth year of my Bachelor of Midwifery degree. I am excited to be working with Charlotte and Hayley for my final year-long placement before venturing off into the world as a new midwife!
My background is in holistic nutrition, and I have always felt an affinity for prenatal care. I loved working with pre-conception, pregnancy, and infants in my nutrition practice, and I wanted to expand my knowledge to become an expert on pregnancy and birth. I truly believe that midwifery represents the perfect balance of holistic and allopathic healthcare, and I am so excited to be able to be a part of my client’s journeys in growing their families!
Outside of school, I am a Calgary Stampeders Outrider. I have been dancing for 28 years, so cheerleading offers me an amazing way to continue feeding my passion while being involved in the community. I also love food, family time, hiking, and fitness classes!
